ABOUT US

Founded in 1889 by a small group of Methodist, this church has played an integral role in the history of the community. Residents H. and Nannie Belote donated land to the congregation in 1894, and the first church building was completed in 1901. Ingrained with those morals and heritage the church continues to convey the message of Christ today.

I'm a paragraph. Click here to add your own text and edit me. I’m a great place for you to tell a story and let your users know a little more about you.

The United Methodist Church is a global denomination that opens hearts, opens minds, and opens doors.

All of this is achieved through active engagement with our society.

The mission of The United Methodist Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

John Wesley and the early Methodists emphasized Christian living, putting faith and love into action.

This emphasis on what Wesley referred to as "practical divinity" continues to be a hallmark of United Methodism today.

We invite you to learn more about our rich theological heritage in these pages and by visiting our location.
